This pelvic scan is beneficial for women who are in the process of having IVF treatment abroad or in the UK, check for follicles (eggs) on both ovaries and indicate probable ovulation period.

The scan will be conducted transvaginal internally (externally on tummy if needed).  The internal scan is necessary as we cannot usually get accurate results through scanning externally (tummy) alone.

During the scan the sonographers will be looking at- 

The thickness of the lining of the womb (endometrium)

Check for Fibroids or Polyp

Measurement of the Uterus and Ovaries 

Any changes noticed in Uterus

Any Free fluid collection

Our sonographers will create a full report of the scan findings to take them with you along with the medical images in a USB stick.
