Here at Baby Moments we offer Mini Wellbeing scan options for anxious Mums and Dads.We will start by checking that the pregnancy is developing as they should, measuring fetal growth and checking for any obvious abnormalities. You will receive black and white thermal printout pictures to take home at the end of your scan and we will be pleased to give you a glimpse of HDLive (4D moving images of your baby in baby colour) during your scan. You will also receive a USB stick with all the 2D & 3D images captured during your scan, also a medical report will be produced. We will then move on to look at the gender of your baby. Although we can never 100% guarantee the sex of the baby, the accuracy when good images are obtained is very high. We are unable to offer a gender scan prior to 16 weeks gestation, as any results obtained would simply not be reliable earlier than this. If your baby is measuring less than 16 weeks at your appointment you will be invited to re-book at a later date. If, due to the position of the baby, the gender is not revealed we will invite you to walk or move around to encourage the baby to change position. Please bring your handheld midwife notes with you for all your scan appointmentsIf you have any questions, no matter how small, please do not hesitate to contact us, and one of our friendly team will be more than happy to help.
As of yesterday 01/01/2021 we are strongly permitted to only perform medically essential scans, Therefore you should only request an appointment for a medical based reason.
